Network Temp Usage |

The Network Temp is available to all COA faculty and students to facilitate
the sharing of files between users. The security of the files on the Network
Temp is such that anyone can read or change anything on Network Temp, but only the
user who put the data there can delete that data.
All data stored on Network Temp is deleted every Sunday morning at 4 am. There are no back-ups.
Once the information is deleted, it is gone for good. Students should not rely on Network Temp
as their only source for critical data storage.
The Network Temp is accessible one of two ways. If a student is using a lab computer, the N: drive is
mapped to Network Temp. Otherwise, it can be accessed by choosing Start -> Run from a Windows machine,
then typing "\\xavier\network temp" and hitting return.
